Physical Therapy

You may need physical therapy after surgery while the frame is on and after frame removal. Therapy helps to maintain range of motion of joints, promotes muscle strengthening, and helps prevent contractures. This will begin in the hospital and needs to continue after you are discharged. You should be doing the exercises that your therapist recommends everyday. For specific questions you and/or your therapist may contact the clinic.
